Price Police - 2016 Kona Wo
Hey guys,
I've finally come to grips with the fact that I'm not riding my fat bike enough to keep it. I have no idea what to ask for this in the current market and am looking for pricing help. The specifics:
2016 Kona Wo (original specs here)
Size Large
Changes:
- Winter Tires: 4.6" Terrene Wazia Tough studded tires. Studs still sharp and in great shape.
- Summer Tires: 4" Maxxis FBF/FBR combo (excellent shape).
- Moved to 1x10 drivetrain: 30t x 11-46 (Sunrace)
- Upgraded shifter from Deore to XT 10 speed
- Swapped the stem for an Easton EA70 that is a little longer
- New (this year, barely used them) front and rear PDW fat fenders
- New Lizard skin chainstay protector (replaced a tube that was wrapped around the stay. Stay is perfect.
- Salsa carbon fork with 2x anything cage mounts
- New Raceface bottom bracket
- New 203mm and 180mm rotors (11 miles)
- New Shimano resin brake pads (11 miles)
The bike is in really nice shape. Nothing needs to be replaced that I didn't replace already. Chain still shows 0 stretch on the gauge from the last time I replaced it.
"Issues" (I just finished tearing it apart, cleaning and regreasing everything before putting it back together to get ready to sell, so most of the issues below probably wouldn't be noticeable otherwise):
- Bolts on the rear dropouts have some rust.
- Chain has a tiny bit of rust also (you have to really look for this)
- Derailleur cable could probably be replaced (and I may still do this)
- Front hydro brake cable is long, but not in the way of anything
- The bike is used and has some cosmetic scratches and wear (i.e. non drive chainstay)
How much is this worth? $1000? SOLD
Thanks,
Seth

My Father in law may buy this back from you. Hit me up before you sell.
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

It's all coming together for me now. I didn't realize that was your dad but remember that he told me his son was a mechanic. I'm ready to sell and you probably know better than I what it's worth. Trade you straight across for a Rowl? :-)

Father in law is out. Should be a good bike for someone.

My similarly valued fatbike went in 30 minutes on Pinkbike, fyi. I bet you could get someone there fast at $1000 and just have them pick a shop for you to drop it off at and let them deal with the shipping...
