well it sure nice enough of the ncaa to let the pac12 have their own tournament and also allow in some cannonfodder. judas, if usc and oregon were in different sides of the bracket; they may both be in the elite 8.

Where's Walton? I gotta hear what Bill has to say.

Hearing Raftery call a game is pretty amazing, that guy was old when I was a kid, is he 90?

ha. I'm a huge fan. Conference of champions just isn't the same without some random surreal Waltonisms.

Walton: Too much of a good thing, I guess. He announces a lot of Gonzaga games, too.

Bracket officially and finally terminally busted. A Gonzaga win might put me in the top 10 at this point.
My kid had volleyball practice. Tuned in thinking I missed the end of the Bama game, and they were in OT. Turns out, I DID miss the end of the Bama game.

    I hate Walton. The worst.

USC looks like a final four team for sure. They are giant.

Zags are gonna have a hard time with SC is my bet. Not that I'm rooting for SC, and not saying the Ducks were the best team out there, but they got thrashed. Zags haven't faced anything like that yet. Should be an interesting game.
Damn shame, throwing away a perfectly good white boy like that

I agree. Timme seems to have problems when facing any 7 footers and the Mobley's will be keying on him, I suspect. Kispert will have to have a good game and Suggs and Nembhard will have to pick up some slack as well. That should open up Ayayi and if he plays like he has been, Gonzaga should be okay. But it will be a tough game, I think and if any of them are off, could be a long night for the Zags. Obviously, while I'm a Pac 12 fan, I'm pulling for the home team.

Definitely want to see the Zags win...even though I'm a Pac12 fan. University of Spoiled Children doesn't need to be winning the natty in hoops.

there sure are a lot more usc fans or believers than i would have guessed and more cougar believers than i would have thought,. quite a few had usc going deep and the cougars going deep. many experts pegged the cougars for an early exit. hell, even i was 50/50 they make it to the 16.

Yeah, I'm a fan. Maybe because in the big picture, I don't really care about the actual game, so it's just all entertainment, so why not add more? My favorite thing is the way he gives Dave Pasch crap. Pasch is a good announcer, but his beliefs are wack, and Bill knows it. Plus, I really like the way Bill has a life and rides a mountain bike at trails near the assorted campuses, visits the research centers, etc.

My theory on Walton is that your views on him are usually predictable when cross-referenced with the amount of time you've spent listening to live Dead.

Been a long time since listening to bootleg cassettes but I do have a soft spot for big red for bringing home a NBA championship to Portland many decades back. Just pretend your the designated driver when everyone gets to dose on some window pane and he'll be more entertaining.

I have no fucking clue how I'm tied for the lead. I know dick about college basketball other than how to write a check to my daughter's big east school.
