That is the origin of the $37 joke you see on here.

I think that answers your question. It's ski off.

The rules of a ski off are simple straightline. Go to the top of the steepest feature, say the Wall at Kirkwood. Drop in, first one to turn loses.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

$37 of skirt steak seems more appropriate.

    Didn’t DD drive a Hyundai?

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

I remember this. The only logical conclusion I came to was that DD and 4ply were they same dude.

TGR is two things-- A) actual gear heads sharing info, and B) like six dudes all pretending to be twenty different dudes in this mass orgy of fake drama.

There is no way this place is real.

I challenged Hugh to a CD once. Told him I'd even ski on tele gear.

Clearly the prize should be a $37 Costco gift card.

    Semantics!

Is a marriage consummated if there is no coitus?
Yes, by law...depending on the legislature.

Is Ski-Off (Ski Off, Skioff) if there is no Ski Off?

It is like duel; if the instigator or instigee do not show up, s/he has lost.
4-ply did not show up, thus he lost. He lost, ergo there was a Skioff.

The floggings will continue until morale improves.

Can you lose a ski off if you don’t agree to a ski off?

Cuz I’m no loser. I’ll fucking go if agreement/acceptance isn’t a material term of the ski off contract.
    focus.

Seeing you write coherent sentences is more disturbing than the alternative. my mind is blown.

    Concerning the ski off semantics:
If one of the participants was a mime, would anyone care?

Edit: and since I am in the mood today I challenge glademaster because he is not only an asshole, but also a moron.
Place: andermatt, Vorgipfelcouloir (it's 135 degrees steep on the Vermont scale)
Time: preferably on a powder day in a year with decent base because otherwise I don't want to invest all that money for a ticket.
Prize: 37 euros and pole straps.
It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.
