    I just learned something:

"Every Bozo was schooled in the fine art of clownmanship at Bozo Boot Camp. When a Bozo made a public appearance, Harmon received half the fee. All Bozo characters would have to buy the costume exclusively from Harmon. Willard Scott, who became famous as the weatherman on NBC's "Today," played Bozo in Washington, D.C., in the late 1950s and early 1960s."

But, an entire obit that read like the history of Bozo, and no mention of Krusty.

I thought this was going to be another Limbaugh thread.

Bob Bell is bozo. Yes, it was under the franchise.
But the wgn syndication spread him far and wide.

Props to Harmon. RIP. What a weird thing to franchise.

I real;ly don't get people's irrational fear of clowns. Maybe too much stephen king. I thought clowns were great as a kid. Loved the circus, esp the clown antics.
I have an extra copy of Shakes The Clown, still in the wrapper.

    Are you fear shaming people?

Had a lady that worked in one of our Asia facilities named Bozo. It;s normal for them to change from a name that is difficult for gringos to pronounce, so she chose Bozo. Somebody asked her why and her response was along the lines of Everybody likes Bozo, he's funny.
