I have been putting a few bucks into DraftKings for sports betting over DFF. Just cashed out a few hundred (thanks Tommy),. Left about 150 in there to play around with some BB and hockey. Think I am close to break even, but whatever I may be down was worth the entertainment this past year.

YOU WERE WITH HER AND ALL YOUR MONEY WENT BYE-BYE WITHOUT YOU KNOWING WHY, AND NOW YOU'RE SEPARATED AND TRYING TO HELP HER OUT. BRILLIANT.
Hey d-bag - here's something for you to think about: maybe (just maybe) not everybody here has their little panties in a wad 24/7 and flies into a rage whenever somebody disagrees with them. Maybe these same mags don't take this place uber-seriously. Maybe this even includes the vast majority of the people who post here as opposed to you and like 20 other thin-skinned douchebags. Just something to think about. -JER

Running a pawn shop at a boarding school could be profitable.

    exactly this.

it isn't just the foreign kids, though. plenty of kids from the states were "hypebeasts" as they say. instead of lifestyle clothing it is like clothing is their lifestyle. always talkin bout the new supreme drop or yeezy release.

I'm always amazed how many people seem to be willing to shell out ~$1,000 for one of those Canada Goose coats. I guess it shouldn't be a bit surprising that there's another brand that's for people who think $1k isn't quite enough to spend on outerwear.

Hey, that's good advice! It's not gambling, it's investing. Same financial outcomes, without all the societal disapproval.

Just to clarify, are we here on TGR judging others for their winter outerwear spending?

Two of my roommates ran numbers in college. People would come in with all kinds of shit when they couldn’t pay.

Me and my other roommate usually got called into negotiations over the value of said shit, we had some real nice stereos and TV’s back then for pennies on the dollar.

Holy shit. Are you kidding? Is that the opinion for online gambling only?
What cures most people is running out of money and ending up losing things like cars and houses. But quitting is next to impossible for many gamblers. The reason I say your (Benny's) story doesn't hold water for me is that it is a well-known fact that casinos prey on elderly widows who are lonely. The casino provides plenty of ass kissers (called hosts) who make them feel wanted and like they have friends. Once the widow plays off all the insurance money and whatever other disposable income she has, they forget they even know her. Must be even colder on the internet. Where I'm going with this, OP, and you might not like it, is what shortcoming in her life is she making up for?

    Gambling Addiction

Over the next 20 years the casinos are going to suck the slot pullers dry as they die off and transition to skill based games. Gambling addiction will only grow.

I know plenty of people couldn’t care less about card games or slots but would loose a fortune playing Mariokart or Corn Hole in a casino setting.

Atleast you would have the opportunity to improve your luck with practice.

My roommate in college bet on Buster Douglas. Dreams do come true.

Paid everyone’s rent for the month.
