It's not tgapp-level, but this is good coffee. A proper medium roast that hasn't been turned into carbon. Only in-warehouse occasionally but it's usually available online. $10/lb

Those hatch chilies, haven’t tried but we’re addicted to the jalapeño version of them, ~1-2 bags a week as salad toppers, and add an awesome crunch to tuna salad wraps.

Yeah, what's up with that. That's the worst possible choice.

Not sure if anyone mentioned or if still available as I got them last year. Gerry (aptly named insulated pants. Certainly not Carhart quality, but for ~ $20 a very comfortable and warm pair of pants. They are so soft and comfy, perfect to wear to the mountain.

Yeah, that cheese is good. It's in my regular rotation of Costco cheeses.

Was in a Costco today and saw Rao's pasta sauce on sale.

Came out to be $4.10 per jar, price in regular grocery stores is about twice that for a smaller size jar.

Love that sauce, as good as homemade IMO. May have to stock up (though I probably don't have the storage space).

I stocked up. That sale price is good through Apr 03, and the use by date on the jars I got up was Oct 2025.

Agree, this is as good as it gets in jarred pasta sauce.

I've been picking up my homemade pasta sauce game (attempting to) -- a pandemic home-front focus thing -- and Rao's Marinara is the sauce I've been trying to match. But so far can't get close to what's in these jars.

I hope they aren't blowing it out as they're stopping carrying it. They didn't have it at my location when I went this week and it's one of our staples, both as pasta and pizza sauce.

Landed in Maui at 7:45 and the Costco here is open til 8:30. Grabbed a five pack of chocolate covered macadamias for various gifts, a case of local beer for us, and a couple of $1.50 hotdogs for the cheapest meal we’ve had all week.

Hell yeah. Probably less per pound than the trash at the supermarket, too. No worries about something that salty spoiling before you finish it.
