I visited Costco Business Center, which somehow manages to out-Costco Costco. They didn't have avocado oil, but they did have 3-gallon vats of canola. And it's junk food paradise; I guess anything one could possibly want for a tech company break room.
Mostly not very useful to me. But they did have Armanino pesto (which I've had trouble finding in supermarkets lately) in large containers, so worth it for that.

I bought a second inflatable paddle board last week. They were on sale for $300 down from $400. We bought one a year ago and have been very pleased with it. It was much easier to carry on our long summer road trips than the kayaks we had taken the previous year and I think they're notably more fun for just paddling around flat water in pretty places. I'm sure you can get better performance, but for the price, they seem awesome.

interesting, I have only done it the package directed way (cut chicken into chunks, brown in oil, then toss in sauce and cook longer). Tossing chicken into the crockpot and leaving for hours just might be even easier; no pre-cubing required, I'm assuming, you just shred when done.

Please use chicken thighs. Slow cooking a breast just creates a flavorless texture thing.

Battery dead in my wife's car, 39 months into a 42 month warranty and full refund no questions asked. Potentially 7-8 years of battery life for about $135 seems pretty sweet.

Was in the Costco snack aisle yesterday and picked up Japanese baked scallops https://www.reddit.com/r/Costco/comm..._so_delicious/
They smell like ass but are actually kind of addictively good. Expensive though.

What do I want from Costco?
My wife inexplicably brought home a bag of Paleo Puffs. My initial reaction was disgust, but I hate food waste, so I kept eating them. Once I stopped trying to compare them to cheese puffs (we call them turd puffs or paleo poops) I kinda of started to like them. I don’t know that I’d recommend them, but they’re a not terrible mostly guiltless snack.
The sous vide sliced sirloin is pricey but delicious.Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.
