By the way, supposedly you can tell if an item at Costco is being discontinued because there will be an asterisk on the upper right corner of the price tag.

This is true, I also think the price changes to end in .98 instead of .99 (unless I'm thinking of Best Buy)

Not necessarily discontinued, but not going to be regularly available--many * come and go.

Mine ran out of the Kirkland Honey Roasted Peanuts. Best peanuts around. Hoping they restock soon. Need to grab some of the Almonds before they are gone.

Its in the cheeses/cured meats area, IIRC, don't have a membership anymore, you can get it in grocery stores, just in smaller tins, shits delicious.

Anyone ever try that "wagu" ground beef? I really don't see the point personally. Wagu steak? Fuck yes? Ground up? Fuckit give me ground ribeye and prime rib or something...not worth the cost...

No costco close so I'm relegated to sam's, they have the wagu ground beef all the time.

What do I want from Costco?

^^ Agree. USDA 80/20 ground beef is where it’s at anyway. Wagu ground = meh. Ground beef is all about what you mix with it.

Tokyo stores have horse meat dog snacks. There’s even pictures of horses on the package. I can’t wait until they open the border.

    Never happen.
That would lose them a number of their most loyal shoppers, e.g. my wife and otzlman's wife and many other equestrian loving buyers of bulk items..

Like it improves immensely if you add ground pork.

Name one thing that doesn’t improve when you add ground pork.

I live 10 minutes from one. I probably buy 2/3 to 3/4 of my groceries there. Prime sirloin was $7/lb today. Most of the produce is literally half what it costs at a regular grocery store and the quality is usually better.
+1...plenty of reward $ back from the executive card..always good quality food And drink.. And the return policy is excellent.

Do you mean the Item # sticker? Costco doesn't put prices on the merch, other than books and food, that I've seen.

I average $200 on my executive rebate, and my first year as a Citi card holder, it was $325

You can't lose on the executive membership- if your reward ends up smaller than the $60 upgrade they will give you back the difference at customer service.
