    Silverton Unguided roll call 2021

Well, I've been looking forward to this since I moved back to CO this fall... Unguided season is just under a month away! I'm stoked to finally pop my Silverton cherry. I'm hoping to hit up the passholder day on 3/15 and probably a couple Wednesdays, and maybe a Sunday in April.

Any mags planning to make the trip or live locally and don't mind a Silverton JONG tagging along? We could do a socially-distanced mini-summit if there is a day/weekend that works for folks.

Count me in. Heli drop on 3/18 and will be skiing around that whole week. After that as many days as possible... let’s ski!

I'll be around 3/24 - 3/28ish. I'm Front Range scum, but I've got a good handle on the place up to Ropedee. Hit me up if you want to spin some laps. Fingers crossed for one more trip in April, but it's in full "Hail Mary" mode. Infants always mess with schedules

For better or worse, it's a one of a kind place. Hope you're hooked!

I live locally and will be there pretty much everyday I possibly can.

Who else bought a $35 heli lap last season and rolled it over to this year? What day did you pick? I didn't realize that I needed to pick a new date until now and picked the 11th of April since that was the only day left with slots. Maybe I could try and move that date, but I doubt it.

See ya'll there! A mini summit of sorts sounds like a good idea. I'd be rad to meet some folks from here on skis.

Was looking forward to skiing with you again, guess we'll be one year older when we do. Hope you're healing up well.

As of now I'm planning on being there 3/15 and maybe the 17th or 18th. I'm out of town 3/24-3/28 so I'll miss your trip HGC. Maybe a few more week days and possibly 4/11 and/or 4/18. April dates probably depend on weather.

The road up to Silverton Mountain CR110A, doesn't have good spots, lots of avalanche paths and consistent plowing. The police have been pretty aggressive about keeping the road clear at night for the plows.
2 up through Howardsville and Eureka has more availability, fewer slide paths. Eureka and Arrestra have camping in summer, so check on those.

Today was sweet pow with lots of blown in cream on crust . Bottomless on North exposures in spots, some crunch felt underneath on South exposures.

Lull tonight and tomorrow, with a baler coming in Friday night.

Travel and winter storm warning, so be aware for Monday.
