A great wind reset from yesterday, lots of soft, some sun exposed stuff got crunchy.

Hell yeah. I'm thinking I should be there Wednesday as well if you want to take a lap.

Had a few flurries around noon, piffled out until 30 minutes ago.
Some good chalk, some tricky windboard, a few licks of recycled pow.
    Now dumping.

All hardcore should take note of the trailer in the lower left housing snow making for the Waterfall ramp.
    Silverton has gone bougie.

It came in late, but by noon, stuff was skiing titties sweet.
Riff, Colorado, Tiger 4.3++, Cabin, Waterfall where yesterdays crust on Waterfall lay muffled cold down smoke quiet.

    I miss you fuckers.

Buster - given the choice, would you choose tomorrow or Wednesday?

    Yes.
    ;-)
Stuff skied great this afternoon. I left about 3:30 and it was still dumping and forecast (fwiw) to continue. Still snowing medium hard in town at 19:30. A lot of the aprons had been hit by sun or warm over the last week, but todays snow buffered that away. So tomorrow should be great, provided there's not some Ikon level crowd surge. There's been a lot of speculation about that.

I haven't seen any amounts forecast for Tuesday except : https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClic...86776562910214
where it says: Snow showers. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 26. South wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Honestly, each day will probably be choice. The best one will be the least busy one and I don't know which one that would be.

Thanks! Got a "mental health" day burning a hole in my pocket, for tomorrow, this Weds-Thurs or next Weds-Thurs. Have Fridays/weekends off anyways, and in Bayfield, so not too bad a drive. Pumped for some lift-served after a lot of skins and skinny skis this winter.

    Choices, choices.

I’ll be there most Sundays through the end of it. Might try to pull some moves to get there midweek, but that’s pretty unlikely.

I'll be there tomorrow and then either Thurs/Fri or Fri/Sat going forward for the rest of the season. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be about as busy as silverton gets unfortunately, but the vibes are always good no matter the crowd. Look for the guy on ON3Ps in the grey helmet/red jacket/sand bibs.

Got first chair, got liftline uncut, proceeded to stack 8 completely pow chowing raging runs: bowling alley, rmyf, rif, tony t, tiger 2, tiger 3, liftline.

The snow report claimed 3", but it skied knee deep most places.

Line early, but it dissipated by 10:00, still slicing uncut fresh @ 2:00.
Parking got crazy by 11:00, but the vibe was truly chill and abundant.

    I'm dead by 2:30.

    Silverton Unguided roll call 2021

Well, that was a hell of a day to pop my Silverton cherry. Started chatting to the guy next to me in the liftline before opening and we wound up skiing together bell to bell. So many good turns.

Best 3 inches ever no doubt. That first run down Tiger Main will be forever etched in my brain. There just isn't anything in the world like untracked pow for like 1.8k vert in an open bowl.

Who were the dudes all on BGs and C&Ds sitting in the parking lot next to my buddies car after the day was over? I know you all are on here lol
