FS: 2020 Manitou Mattoc Pro 29er

This is by far the best fork that I've used. The Mattoc Pro has a ton of adjustability with knobs for high speed compression, low speed compression, IRT (Infinite Rate Tune - like the Runt or MRP ramp control), rebound and HBO (hydraullic bottom out). Coming from Rockshox Pikes primarily (and a Fox 34) I find the adjustability available in this fork to be amazing. I know that all forks state that they offer this, but those adjustments allowed me to fine tune initial bump sensitivity, mid stroke support, rebound rate, ramp up, and final 20mm of travel. I feel that I'm able to use the full travel more effectively producing more confidence and higher speeds on the bike.

This fork was a warranty replacement from Manitou and, in my opinion, says volumes about their service and warranty. I picked up a second hand fork last year and sent it in for a service. Something wasn't quite right and I wanted Manitou to look at it. I was up front about being a second owner but they replaced the shock anyway after identifying the issues as related to manufacturing. This is what I have experienced working also with Reynolds, another of the Hayes Bicycle group and has gone a long way in producing brand loyalty in me.

This fork's performance inspired me to buy a Mara Pro rear shock and the combination has been awesome. I record all of my rides in Strava but don't use it as a training tool or watch my strava times during my rides to try and beat my previous times. That said, immediately after switch from my Pike and Monarch Plus to this Manitou suspension all of my Strava times on my local trails decreased significantly as I was getting PRs on all of those trails.

So why am I selling? When I purchased the Mara Pro the only version that was in stock effectively long shocked the rear end giving me 150mm of rear travel. Like many others, I like it and want to increase travel on the front to match. I'm going to replace with a Mezzer with the same guts to run 150-160mm.

    Stats:
    - 120-140mm travel
    - 29" wheel
    - 15x110 boost spacing
    - 7.25" steerer tube
    - 48mm offset
    - Clears a 29x2.5" DHF WT on a 30mm IW rim without issue
    - Clears a 27.5x3.4" tire

I'm not exactly sure where to value this. I have a total of 153 miles on the fork and replaced the fork oil before winter. Condition is excellent. Stanchions are perfect and I struggled to find even scratches on the lowers, crown, etc. MSRP is $950 for the 29er version.

(SOLD) Price is set at $575, but open to offers.

Interested (love my Mezzer, building up a 130 trail bike this spring) but that steerer tube is probably too short

I confirmed what I had thought....most of my bikes run approx 200 mm steerer tube.

Bump for incorrect offset. It's 48mm according to manitou. This version is also sold as a 27.5+/29 forth and can clear up to an 87mm (3.4") tire in a 27.5.

I've gotten a few nibbles but no bites yet. Bump for a great fork that somebody needs for their spring build!
