@Foggygoggles
So you aren't from Utah?

No, does that mean I don't get to have an opinion? My opinion is the same no matter where you live or where you are from or who you are. Single household driving vacation to recreate outside with eating in or pickup only = OK if you must. Anything else = selfish and tone deaf.
So tell me about your vacation plans. Still waiting.

I was hoping you could help me make these plans.
But I don't really want to ski at Winter Park. There's a lot of COVID there.

tl;dr yes
he got mad because i said he should give his crotch goblins to the mormon church by leaving them in the DI collection bin
then a buncha people told him to go fuck himself
then some ppl were like "hey he's a real dude"
and now we're back to "go fuck yourself real dude"
4 pages and there are no pictures of his wife's tits either. don't waste your time.

merci.
my only thing to actually add is that the true beater tourists that are around (i.e. the ones staying at the lodges, not just on their base ikon day from sugarhouse) don't know how to wear masks so it doesn't exactly make a local want to provide advice to yet another out of stater coming to crowd the lines and spread the covid.

No it's not going exactly as I had intended.
That's OK though.

If you can drive, stay in an Airbnb with only members of your household and eat only there, stay out of gondolas and trams, not take lessons or put your kids in them, back off if you see lots of maskless people in lines then I don't see a problem. If you can't d all of those things than stay home or go to someplace where you can do all of those things. The skiing itself isn't spreading the virus. The locals are pissed because things are crowded, the way things and locals are every year. The key is no indoor exposure to anyone you don't live with. And a semi-enclosed tent with propane heaters is not outdoors.
Frankly though, ski trips with a bunch of kids are tough enough in a normal year; in a pandemic there's just way to much to keep track of for it to be anything other than a stress.
Anyone who bought an IKON pass who doesn't live within driving distance of an Alterra resort is insane IMO.
