FS: 196 4Frnt Renegades (owl) and 187 4frnt MSP99

Putting these together into a true FS thread.

196 Renegades SOLD.

187 4Frnt MSP99. 2018/2019. Mounted twice for 295mm pivots. Once on line, and again back 1.5cm or so. Like them fine, but never reach for them. Pretty minty aside from the mounts. $265 flat, $400 with fks 14. OBO

I can’t imagine skiing these beast back east. But I’ve never skied back east. I personally almost exclusively use my 196s at snowbird, 186 at Alta. Takes a real special day at Alta to break out the big boards. They only go to 11!

I saw a patroller ripping around last Friday on a set of Praxis Protests. Definitely skis for the conditions we want, not what we have.

I’ve done it a handful of times and it’s pretty fun. The speed they carry can be a real benefit until it isn’t.

I have this year of the MSP99 in the 181 length, I really enjoy them. great ski for just ripping around when conditions don't call for something wider here in PNW. Enough metal to give the ski a nice dampness but really easy to ski. Free bump for a good ski.
