I've never been to Warroad. Worth a side trip?

    Maybe so.

I live in a state that's pretty wide fucking open and it blows my mind how locked down others are still despite daily hospitalization numbers <2,000 people.

We're all tired of this shit. We're all (mostly) playing by the rules and moving on with life. Are there some assholes out there ruining it for the rest of us? Definitely. I've lost a man from my wedding due to COVID and its touched me personally. I'm not going to get into the 30,000 post shitshow that the debate is over this virus, but one thing is for sure: it's not going away, but we're making headway and it is possible to live life while being mindful and protective.

Are we supposed to stay in our homes until we have achieved some metric that changes by the state line? I don't know.

I know travel has happened and is going to continue to happen, myself included. Play by the rules, be nice and be mindful of others is all we can ask I think.

The fishing on LOTW is tits, limit on walleyes by noon and hit a shore lunch then spend the afternoon hucking bucktails for muskie

I don’t think Marsh Harbor has many cottages right now. This was East Grand Bahama. Abaco was worse. It’s always hard to get materials on the Bahamas, but way slower with Covid, so I doubt much has been rebuilt.

That cell phone tower was supposed to withstand 200 mph winds.

Sooo. If you leave the states you can’t board a plane home without a negative test. Or a doctors note that you had covid.

    Vaccine doesn’t work. For travel.
    Wtf.

Roseau is much better but that’s a long standing debate. Fishing, hockey and snowmobiling is about it.

In HS I played in a holiday hockey tourney every year in Warroad, great hockey heritage and culture. One of the Christian’s, Ginny, was always our team host and told us tales of the 1956 Olympic team. My guess is 99% of mags here have no clue what/ where Warroad even is.
