Where The Fuck Should I Spend Two Weeks Post Vax?!
Looking to schedule a two week getaway for me and the lady friend once we (hopefully) get vaccinated later this year. Everything and everywhere is in play, budget conscious but want to be comfortable.
Looking for some R&R, good food, good scenery, activities and such.
Places that I'm not necessarily looking to revisit for this trip:
- Mexico, though I'd be open to suggestions on new spots. Have done Cabo/Cerritos/Todos Santos, Cancun/Tulum, PV
- Hawaii/Maui/Oahu
- Western Europe (UK, Germany, Ned, France, Germany, Switz, etc)
Where the fuck should I go?!

The problem is most places are gonna be kinda shut down and probably not that hospitable. I think I'd go somewhere where the place itself is the draw and you can just chill in a kinda self-contained fashion, like renting a house on St. John or Kauai for something.

Moscow. Hookers and blow.

Japan. I'd move there in a heartbeat. Such an amazing place.
Also, my buddy in Tokyo tells me how open everything pretty much is. Just did a week of skiing in Nagano too.I still call it The Jake.

Thailand? Chiang Mai area, Northern Thailand, is inexpensive, relatively off the beaten path, and has limited Covid restrictions. No beaches up there, but there are plenty of beaches in the south you could visit. You could access cambodia as well. SE asia in general is a great destination, but I think most of the other countries are closed.

Can you go to Iceland these days? If so, it's worth a look. Rent a camper and drive the ring road stopping at every pool you can find.
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
Cletus: Duly noted.
