Used for a few rides last summer, then went back to my XT's Just couldn't get use to a different lever feel after 15 years on shimano.

After the 5 rides, I did a fresh bleed, and have new pads in bags included. Get some 4 piston brakes for a good deal. No rotors, no adapters, no mounting hardware. Odds are you can re-use all that from your current brakes that are not working well.
