The FIL took me out tonight near Falmouth, MA while at the family cabin. Some nice striped bass on the fly rod make for some good fights.

Went on a head boat out of Westport for halibut. Everyone got a decent sized halibut and then limits of lingcod. I got a couple rockfish too. Was an awesome day- it was raining a decent amount on the way out which was kind of cool, but then turned pretty nice if a bit cool.

    Took my dad out yesterday.

The next month or so is my favorite fishing of the season. I'm about to go on a bender.

When I went, we were trolling with live ballyhoo. They tried to attract them with some colorful jigs. But we didn't get any to bite.

    Shameless SPAM

A great organization here in Montana is the PLWA. (Public Land Water Access Association). These guys fight tooth and nail against the billionaires trying to take away the working mans access to public lands.

They are having an online fundraiser, buy some shit and support them.

Nice shots Swimmy, when was that? We floated that stretch 5/22 and the water seems to have come up a good amount since then.

yes, good shots. A photo he posted last year similar to that top one led to me getting that raft last year. I've loved it.

    Yesterday (June 1)

Today we hit a new to me piece of water. While you had to stay heads up on the sticks, it is perfect Striker water.

We came looking for salmon flies. While got into the hatch pretty good the fishing was so-so.

So no hawgs but the wildflowers on the drive out were a nice consolation.

    Love it here.

Sadly I cant figure out how to post pics.
It is like a switched turned over here in Bavaria. Dry fly fishing is on! Had a great trip up to the Pegnitz and had wonderful sight fishing to rising browns. Back at home on the Loisach we have added 6k of new water to our best and it’s a great stretch. Very fishy and very wild, stoked for the rest of the season....
