    That area gets epic snowfall. There's some locals that get after it and it draws visitors. 2 skiers from Ashland.

    Brook was a great guy. Amazing skier. So chill. Loved his family so much. He leaves behind his wife, young son, three sisters, a nephew, and his parents. There were many years where I thought he might end up my brother in law.

    I've known a few USFS employees from Etna who skied that zone a bunch. Like the Eddie's, remote country and a long ways from help. RIP.

    Brook and his sister were some of the first people I met in SLC. Solid guy. Fluid skier. Always setting the working mans traverse on the east face, or pounding in the bootpack on EGP. Luckily got to watch him launch the diving board off of Fantasy and put two feet down about 20 feet further than the Warren Miller crew did five minutes previous. Skied by with a smirk and said "oh sorry, didn't see ya!"
