I wonder if he'd throw in the boots for, say...maybe, and extra $900?
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

I mean, it's DP$, but if I'm gonna spend $1500 on a setup, I'm just gonna get new shit and mount where I want.

Well considering it’s getting hard to give megawatts away, maybe $150 for the dynafiddles?

If you know anyone giving megawatts away, let me know. Hoarding the blue and white ones, one gen before the red ones pictured above.

The asking price takes the wider “drill padern” into consideration. Those things aren’t cheep.

Anyone want to split this with me?!?! I'd toss some pocket lint and a partially eaten sammy towards these things.

They only came in 178 and 188, and some generations (i.e. orange sidewall) actually measure longer like 190cm. I have the blue generation and also the orange sidewall generation, I was out skiing the latter today and they are really killer skis. They ski big for 188 (really 190) between the stiffness and long sidecut radius, I bet the 178 would be a playful length for a lot of folks or better on the east coast. They crave big open faces and high speed turns, not surfy hippy pow. Under the radar on TGR although the way they ski seems in line with the TGR Gnar crowd.

I get the carbon megawatts for touring but why people would tour on the standard megawatt is beyond me. Maybe their snow is good for a 125mm touring ski but I can't imagine trying to drive mine for fun in tech bindings and light boots.

A lot of us skied the 188 MW when they were first released. It was actually my first heavily rockered pow ski and a staple of the quiver for about 5 years. I still have them and ski them early season if the snow is deep enough early season to necessitate the wide waist.

That could add to the price asked just for the manliness of the mountain, or if it was a thin snow cover, really subtract from the asking price...
