We've been able to get in 2 rides so far with the weather as it's been, and seeing friends/showing GF VT for the first time. First ride last Friday in Stowe, connected Cady Hill to Adams Camp for 20 miles.
Second ride was yesterday at the Kingdom trails. It really sucks how the trails they've closed make Darling Hill Rd a necessity to connect the various trail areas from town. Did a bunch on Darling Hill, then pedaled up the road to hit the Moose Alley area to end the day. 23 miles at KT.
We're staying on the Sugarbush access road in a condo until Thursday, and I've got some decent flexibility. Anyone free to get a ride in? And have a bike I could borrow ?

(I'm happy to rent a bike as well if that's an option, but the bush shop is closed all week)

You're in VT-Freeheels backyard. Hopefully he sees this and can hook you up.

I ended up renting a bike in waterbury and will be riding perry hill at 10 tomorrow. not sure I can get out for a 2nd ride tomorrow but will try to ride early on the 7th in the AM before I need to drop the bike back off at 10AM. What time is "after work"? I'll see if I can make it work, but do have some afternoon meetings I can't miss.

Jtran, if you ride a med frame I have a bike you can use, but it seems like you have a rental.

Nice pics! Headed to Stowe this weekend. I remember riding a few years ago and connecting the Adams Camp stuff, biking by the high school and riding through the adjacent woods and ending up in Cady Hill. Is that what y'all did? If so lmk how to make that connection. It doesn't look connected on Trailforks. Thanks!

The connection from the bottom of Pipeline/Stowe HS to Cady to pretty simple. Go in behind the high school, go right at the first "T" intersection, up a hill, then bear left at the next "T" intersection. If you pull up the heat map on Strava you'll see it there.

you could download this GPX.
The ride I linked I did the two best trails in Strawberry Hill Farm, Owl's Ridge and The Office which mean I climbed that hill twice and then the third time on the way back. . You really can do one or the other one way way out. I could ride stowe on sunday but not Saturday.

Stopped by the Arcadian Shop (cool place) and talked to Ken. He suggested a couple loops, but my sense of direction sucks, so I still had to double back multiple times.
No friends, so I had to take pictures of my bike.
No big climbs, and nothing too scary.
Except for this Stonehenge looking setup.
Only saw a few people walking the trails. Surprised at how many leaves were down already. Sounds like there are some more advanced options beyond the park itself that would be worth checking out.

Leaves just starting to turn here in Acadia… should be prime in a week or so. If any mags head this way for a foliage tour, I can provide camp/driveway space, possibly a heated treehouse, and some freshly cured Purple Skunk. Looking forward to some colorful rides!
