Today was stellar. No photos but blackstrap was prime. Both lots off hurricane were packed but the trails didn’t show it.

Well I just got power after 3+ days without. Massive storm. Local marathon cancelled. No work or school for 3 days.
Went for a ride today. Trails are toast. Paging Edward chainsawhands.
Worst storm in over a decade.

First ride at Harold Parker today. Buddy got a new-to-him bike and invited me down. Man, not sure how I hadn’t ridden here yet. Super techy and fun. Stayed mostly on the Pink and Orange Wicked Ride route. Some really challenging stuff.

Back in Carrabassett after the fantasy month in E Burke, the house we rented was at least as good as the weather. CV is in the closed trails due to freeze thaw cycle now, guess it's time to plug in the Zwifter.

The leaves are all down after the rain and wind last night in Acadia. Time for a Touch of Grey…and some light at the end of the ride.

Carriage Roads are packed hard with what seems like recycled asphalt. I don’t blame them after having to repair all the washouts and damage from early in the Summer but, it feels like pavement. Smooth and fast… I might bring my road bike for the next ride later this week. Still no cars though!

Carriage roads in Acadia are always closed to automotive traffic… It’s pretty sweet. I pop in some earbuds and a Dead show, add Sativa, and away I go.

    I highly recommend this one:

Did you bring a light for the caves? BATS was basically my backyard for years running, hiking, biking, and skiing, the woods have so much history lots of beautiful old logging roads. Back in the day we’d ride our bikes up to the orchards to buy weed from the Jamaicans, so much better than the brick schwag sold on Benmont.

Those Carriage Roads in Acadia are so much fun, like Singlecross says, no cars. Looks like the might have used road grind from a resurfacing project. That stuff packs tight, drains well and sheds heavy runoff.

Wish I had made it up this fall for some riding.

Acadia is really some of the best November riding maine has to offer. Solid grinding heading right into ski season.

Might have to spend November on MDI next year

I did not, nor did I check out the mansion, but I will. Stoked on that area. Haunted weed indeed

We blew the shit out of our little network that gets limited traffic (basically no traffic except us) and it was awesome last night! Leaf blowers ftw!

Now other spots...leaf blowers are dumb and useless!
