Heading to Gloucester next week with the family, can likely sneak out for a short ride. Where should I go? I like tech and prefer when it points downhill. For reference my go to are Lynn and Billerica.

There is a ton of tech riding in that specific area, just not familiar w/it. Trailforks or Strava heat map?

Harmony Hill trails in Downingtown PA. I’d never stopped for pictures here before since it’s a really fast & flowy section, but this one did come out quite well.

Anyone interested in a crushing MTB race check this out. Slate Valley Epic- 40 miles 5,000+- vert. This will use almost all of the network minus the two gnarlier trails.

Got out for a ride on the Carriage Roads in Acadia before the swarm arrives. 10 days post abdominal surgery and even with some stitches still in my belly, 10 miles in the sun through the forest was a delight! Had a good show in the earbuds and even came across Terrapin Station!

Explored Clyde Pond in Windham, NH yesterday. A great begintermediate network that would be awesome with people who are still relatively new to riding with enough options to keep people busy.

There are some fun features with ride arounds. Minimal climbing so lapping some of the more interesting trails is easy.

Met one of the trail builders and had a nice conversation about the development of the network. It’s super rad that the high school kids have access to this as it abuts the property.

I did a similar two day sufferfest with loaded bikes put on by the Coos Club in Gorham, NH a couple years ago called the LogJam. Whiskey available en route and plenty of times when you were wishing you brought a different bike. No matter what you were riding

The rain does indeed suck but I keep telling myself any dry mtbing before May is a gift in VT. April offered some solid early season conditions so we're due for a rainy stretch.

Asked my wife what she wanted to do for her birthday today and she said bike ride in the morning and then BBQ in the evening. Don’t have to ask me twice! At least the rain has kept the dust down on the gravel and the waterfall levels up for us. Sorry singletrackers.

We've been getting a little bit of rain here and there, so the wet spots are staying wet, but overall it's dry.

The North Branch trails in Montpelier opened this week so I got my first ride in for the season. It’s not quite a destination network because it’s on the smaller side but if you’re in the area and have an hour to kill it’s full of short, fast flow trails. Really fun.
