Sounds like a sporty drive. We will be driving my Tundra with winters on.

Definitely going for a soak at lava hot springs.

Taco Bus was kind of a let down from what I remember. It's been a while since I've been but the gas station Thai place in lava hot springs was always really tasty the few times I've been.

looks like reviews may have slipped since I last looked but I'd still vote that over the taco bus.

Also, depending on river level there are some small but free natural hot springs right in town in the river that are public. Just upstream from the big town paid hot spring, downstream of the gas station thai place.

Not to mention that that Taco Bus is gonna be WAY out of his way, given the forecast. Unless, of course, the 20-191 route is closed. Which... given the forecast... yikes.

I'm not IKON but if you still have the option of booking a room with Boyne they will guarantee you lift tickets.

    Good lord almighty, seriously?

You guys realize how far away Dillon is from Big sky right now? That's not even an option. For fucking tacos. JFC.

And your gonna drive past the Tetons with an impending storm on a base that's better than almost anywhere else? Even MT Local Yeahman is coming to the Tetons on Friday, that should tell you volumes.
Damn, I'd love to ski with yeahman again soon...

Talked to a Pebble creek local kid yesterday in the lot, he said PC is bony and kinda beat right now. Sweet when it's fat tho.

Sledding in the park is pricey, can be dull, and in a storm, you won't see squat

Drive to Jackson, stop, ski deep pow, repeat. We'll hook ya up. Leave the rock skis at home.
Skiing is Tits here right now and fixing to go off.
And there's about half a dozen visiting mags in town right now. Been blasting around together for days.

Travel: I-15 is generally easier but not necessarily faster in a storm, usually is tho. 191 Goes thru Rock springs, 89 thru Evanston is a little tricky with turns but easy for anyone paying attention.
All in all it's cake driving in a tundra with good rubber and some Irie.
    And yer Babe.

I'd second this. The better half really enjoyed taking snowmobiles into Yellowstone from West Yellowstone. Surprisingly, they were pretty comfy too with heated seats and handles, etc. I was a bit concerned for her that riding for hours in the cold would suck, but it was a really good time with their sled setups.

Th outdoor hot tub at the Huntley Lodge is pretty sweet. If your not staying there utilize your ski bum skills to poach a soak while your there, also grab some pocket meat from the breakfast buffet as well.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned stopping in Wilson to say "hi" and check out the server room.

I didn't catch your dates, but if you are rocking Ikon, you might want to scope availability. Even if buying a full price day ticket, reservation availability was almost sold out as well, at least for the next couple days through the weekend.

If you can get a ticket, it will be well worth it.

If ya can't pencil in the Tetons, I'd fully support this as a plan B.

If you can make it over to the Ghee on Friday shoot me a text. Love to ski with ya. Wish I could make it over the pass to Jackson this trip but only got a day to spare. Maybe in March.

    Man. Yeah.
I would love too. Odds are against it but at least one visiting mag has ski privileges at the ghee. It might just happen.

Bump. Any ikoneers skiing big sky Saturday? If not we are coming to Jackson. No ikon pass. Paying full boat wherever we go.

If both Jackson and big sky are options then why is this even a question? I mean I guess I can see the dilemma:
-big sky isn't even %100 and hasnt seen a good dump all season
-Jackson is, well, fucking Jackson. With a storm rolling and some ripping mags hanging around
