What's the difference between these and the Moment Voyager / Freeraider? Can the brakes easily be swapped / purchased?

    I may be interested...

    different toe (less strong)
different heel (max rv of 10 rather than 12/14, different mount pattern, but still has active length compensation, so still somewhat freeride oriented)
    different risers (not magnetic)

    brakes are easy to swap

These are really great bindings if you don't need a higher release value, I love mine.

Did some reading and the heel seems like a bit of a pain to flip around 180 to get all the different riser heights, but perhaps it's not a huge deal.

i just put the flappy over the pinnies and forget about it. unless you're skiing in some dynafit boot ca 1995 you should be just fine. i never rotate the heel to get the other riser settings.

Yeah that’s the downside to a single riser. A lot of minimalist bindings are the same. These heels turn allot more easily than others though.

I'm out for now. Really interested in trying them at some point but don't have a ski for them right now.

Does anyone know if these conflict with the raider heels while mounting?

Backstory: I've got two sets of skis each mounted with inserts for Helio 350s (crest toes, raider heels) and Vipecs. I've decided these ski well enough I want to ditch the Vipecs and have a set of ATKs on each. Unfortunately I am away from my printer for another week or so otherwise I would test it myself with a template.

not a huge deal at all. in the same motion that one would release or retract the brakes, you turn the heel 180. Turns super easy, doesn't turn when you don't want it to. You can do it while ripping skins w/ skis on and super quickly while transitioning for the up

Great binder for the weight. very pleased w how they ski, how they tour, and durability. you should buy these

2nd vote for “no big deal”

High riser or flat is pretty ideal for approach roads then skin track. I barely use the middle riser (over the pins) so it’s just like flipping anybody else’s riser.

All the features of the older heavy touring bindings in a 280g package. Skis great.

I have a set of 102mm brakes for these that I'm not using if their new owner is in need.

Almost almost looks like it should. But it won’t. That’s for the R12/FR14.
