I enjoy standing in long lines and all the wonderful traffic on powder days.

Too old for sleigh riding. Too young to stop moving.

Growing up, and luckily through most of my 20s and 30s I was getting ~100 days in a year locally and travelling. Turns is turns I always said. Didn't matter where.
Then, life happened and I missed a year. Then I only got 3 days in the year after that. My next day on skis was the year after that in WNY in a once in a decade blizzard.
I got off the lift and made exactly one turn before I was reminded of why we go skiing.I still call it The Jake.

I have been so beat up the last few years I don't know if I ski any more. Doesn't look like this year between covid and my hip so I guess I'll be one year older when I do.

Because Icarus hit the ground and became a bloody heap..or because my anatomy doesn't allow me to fly. Skiing is as close as I can get.

SFB, that looks like a lot of work to climb up that. An hour of climbing for 3.5 mins of skiing?
