What the hell Timber? If I remember correctly, back in the day, when I had my old log-in name and was still cool(ish), there was a requirement that you NOT BE A WUSS to join this board. Driving moccasins?! Really!?

I expect better. From all of you. OF COURSE YOU CAN DRIVE IN SKI BOOTS. Fuck, it's TGR. You should be getting fucking MARRIED in your ski boots. Working on teeth in your ski boots, you fucking dentists. Showering in ski boots. Surfing in ski boots, no problem.

Can you drive in ski boots? Christ.

This place is slipping. I'm getting pissed I came back.

It's hard to heel/toe and rev match the Aventador in ski boots. The Italians must have small feet.

It's impossible to heel and toe shift the Aventador, seeing as how it doesn't have a manual transmission.

It can be custom ordered through the Lamborghini Exclusivo program.

People who think they can drive well in ski boots probably think they do fine driving while they text as well.

An old friend would put one boot on at the house, drive ~ 30 mins to the hill and put the other boot on in the lot.

This thread is inspiring, I need to youtube some instructionals on how to drive in boots and impress the hardcore skiers out there. Although no one is mentioning cars, I should say all these SUVs and trucks mentioned put you at a much better angle. When you are sitting down low it's much harder roll the ankle to touch the pedal.

Anyone texting and driving in ski boots with a manual?

Not true. But what is true is that me driving my 2019 4x with winter tires + studs in my touring boots is a fucking shit load safer than any punter driving a minivan with all seasons on the access rd I go up.

The only things that you should "drive" while wearing ski boots is your skis.

I considered it once, driving from Breck to Keystone. I don't think I would have made it out of the parking lot. My little car is a stick.

I drive in my boots every single day. 20 + seasons of demo days and industry events it was pretty much a requirement.

When driving in ski boots, is it crucial to keep your shins against the front of the boot, or can you butter it?
My hands would definitely be in front. Don't usually have to check the spare.

I usually put boots in walk mode and easily drive the Tundra even in snowy conditions. Driving the subaru with manual trans is a bit more difficult and can be done, but i found i burn up the clutch a bunch doing it and so i stopped.

Drove 5spd in boots a couple of times until I realized that just driving in liners will help my clutch longevity in a huge way.
