Touring / skins on curved base skis

    Hey Folks,
I've got a buddy who interested in a pair of Line Outline skis, with the intention of making it a 50/50 setup with shifts.

Does anyone have experience in using skis with "Convex Bases" or "HRZN Tech" while touring?

If so, are they only compatible with certain skin attachment methods, or does snow propagate into the skin glue area because of these curves on the ski bases?

    Thanks!

For HRZN Tech - the G3 tip attachments were not friendly. BD's loop all the way. As for skin coverage, I would just trim back on the angled part - I didn't and snow packed in there, but it didn't affect performance at all.

On my spooned Lotus 138s I just trimmed the skins to not cover the beveled part, like thejongiest described. Works fine.
