Also, where else do you see the guys shotgunning beers on the first tee?

Not talking about the players. I'm sure it's great for them and their WAG's

You betcha I did. The hot bed of golf in the USA. Grew up playing a RTJ original. I went to a PGA Championship (Curtis Stranges' 2nd in a row in 1989. A Sr PGA Championship, 4 LPGA events and 2 Ryder Cups. 1995 where Curtis choked on 17 and his career never recovered. 1999 greatest comeback ever with the unruliest crowd ever.

If you ever get the chance to go, do it. See what you've missed.

4M, I’m sure there’s no shortage of fans from the west coast there, but go on.

I guess we won’t look for you when it’s played at Olympic either.

This afternoon session is making Brooks and Bryson look likable!

Wow. Tons of Euro support there judging by that roar for Lowry.

I don't think which coast you're from has anything to do with it.

Plenty of front running Americans, happy to cheer for whoever is winning at the moment.

Some in that crowd are an embarrassment. They didn't show it or really even mention it, but at least twice Match 2 was interrupted by streakers.

    After Day 2 11-5 USA

14 1/2 required for USA to win, 14 for EUR to retain the Cup.

Yeah, I saw Speith, multiple US caddies and even Bryson tell the crowd to cool it several times today. Have fun people, but don’t be a boorish ass.

    Day 3 19 - 9 USA Final

I've never been a fan of Sergio, he has issues, but some fans are completely out of line. Hopefully they cut the beer sales sooner and/or kick the jerks off the course next time the US hosts an international competition.

I don’t know. The crowd gave Sergio a big hand coming down his final hole. Looked to me like they were partisan but appreciated good shots from either side

The crowd prob felt bad and embarrassed by the way Sergio was treated by the few fools out there.

It's a small bunch of idiots that have no decorum, class, or any sense of sportsmanship. It's easier to hear the crowd on the live-streamed feature match (Koepka/Spieth vs Rahm/Garcia) which I watched most of yesterday.

Everything that I saw this week out of Sergio was great. Took the barbs in total stride, talked up his opponents competitively, and blew kisses to the gallery.

It’s a shame the asses are the loudest.

Great win Team USA, new blood worked and Strick seems like the best cap in recent memory.

I’d say Brooks arguing with he refs and whining that he might break his wrist was just as embarrassing if not more so than some of the lame fans. Limp wrist Brooksy sucks!

If you watch the shot, though, Brooks was kind of right. And full disclosure… I sort of know the guy who was in charge of the guy making that call and we will probably have an interesting conversation about it soon.

If you asked your buddies for relief on that shot on a weekend they’d laugh you off the course. Yeah his follow through hit the ditch, and he hit a good shot. He was being a little cunt and trying to game the system. And then to say “if I break my wrist it’s your fucking fault”. If he was that worried about his limp ass wrists he could’ve conceded the hole. I previously had zero opinion of Brooks, except that his wife is gross, but now he’s shown his colors. No way stand up players like Lowry or Morikawa would’ve behaved that way. Even the Aussie with the mullet has more self respect.

But we did get the “have you seen me swing” line followed by Sergio spitting out his water. That was gold! Haha.

Well we ended 21 with a fantastic showing by the Daly boys and Young Tiger.

I love this event at Kapalua and look forward to watching it again after playing the course in November.

Do we need a new thread?

New 2022 thread coming. New year, new thread. Put a fork in this one.

    Look for “2022 PGA” shortly.
