Barbasol was always the best for end of year shaving cream fights.
I still call it The Jake.

That was a great event to watch, rapid fire shots. minimal telecast drama and done by 2pm... How about Louie bouncing it off the stick from 253... Morikawa took control and showed poise beyond his years, " champion golfer of the year" deservedly so!
I would have enjoyed watching the action from over the fence on #4, anybody else intrigued by the little viewing hut covered in chicken wire in the backyard? Nice spot...

BDC and Rahm are out of the Olympics for Covid. This is the 2nd time in 2 months and 3rd time overall for Rahm to test positive. Whatever vaccine he got, I want to make sure I received the other one.

Interesting that Mr. Science aka Bryson wasn't vaccinated.
I thought Rahm only tested positive once and the other time he was out due to potential exposure? He probably got the J&J. Friends of mine who got that one have since followed up with Pfizer.I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

^IIRC, Rahm had it early-on and then had 2 positives from the contact deal. First Cut guys will break it down after the 3M.

So I went to the Northern Trust today and saw some ridiculous golf.
Eagles
My boy from Utah Tony Finau put up a 64 and I thought that was the number of the day
We saw 5 maybe 6 more that low and then 2 62s...
I was front row for Xanders hole out eagle and it was the most perfect golf shot I have seen live.
Fun day with Manhattan as the back drop.

Those guys can just eat up a course like that....far from anything challenging that they occasionally play.

Its humbling to see that level of play up close - pretty dramatic setting down there as well.
Its a different game than the one we know.

2021 PGA
Cam’s been playing some good golf lately. Flirting with 59’s a round in every tournament helps too. He’s my preference to win the FedEx Cup.
Fear the mullet.
Curious to see what shape the course is in and how it plays Monday post hurricane.

I guess it's more fun now to see the FedEx Cup leaderboard change so frequently week to week, but I'll be damned if Tiger didn't dominate that, and the #1 player board for a fucking long time.
Sure, the field was thinner at tigers start, but damn. BTW tiger is the sole reason that we have such great golf today. Tiger mightve actually turned golf into a sport of athletes, instead of overweight guys in funny pants chasing a little ball.

Really like the on course camera angles...show the slope of the greens pretty good. Always amazed how these guys still drill them to the back of the hole.

I think your memory might be a bit selective on the "overweight guys." Perhaps you're remembering them as they aged in to their 40's and 50's. Like Jack winning the masters at age 46. Even if they were fat they could still swing at an elite level like John Daly and even he wasn't fat at the start of his career.

Gary Player was the forerunner of the fit golfer.
I also think technology has allowed guys that would not be as competitive, to compete with less skill.
