It was an idea to convert ski vibration into electricity then light

That’s pretty cool. Only problem is it’s only cool at night when you can see them.

Yeah and I didn't actually notice it until looking at video later. I was thinking it would be cool if whole ski lit up in color patterns like a Ferris wheel .

"At 198 cm, it's as stable as a 207-length ski,"

    I like this part

Yep, K2 did. I had a pair of K2 Mod X or something like that, bumble bee yellow and black. Had the little red light blinking when I'd ski, but usually it was covered in snow. Cool concept, but kind of useless.

The Stockli's seem to be easy to keep parallel

Wow these skis were amazing! I have not skied Dynastar since the 4x4 Bigs circa 2000.

I did back to back runs on these skis to really compare in similar conditions

I can't say I really enjoy riding with a selfie stick in my hand, but I'll do it for you guys!

Haha... I remember reading about these in Boy's Life magazine when I was a wee laddie. Kind of a cool idea. Can't imagine that the lights dissipated enough energy quickly enough to make much of a difference though.

I’m glad you enjoy! It has been a fun way for me to stay motivated and see the mountain with fresh eyes, on fresh skis !

Might want to turn the DIN up if these conditions persist...
