Interesting. I ended up skiing my 2.0s in some dust on crust this afternoon and I had a pretty good time in conditions they obviously aren't designed for. They don't ski that stiff and still feel pretty darn lose in even a few inches, so perhaps I'm happy I'm on the 2.0s vs spoons. I think the mount point moved back, iirc -10 on these

Bumping this to ask you for what length 2.0's did you get and what's your height and weight?
    Thanks

My only 120+ at the moment in a 177 Protest in MAP and Carbon (I think same vintage as Eskido, not sure) with dynafits for soft snow only.

I don't get along with the protests so much in other terrain. (haven't used them in a long time, but need to get a 6 mm B&D shim under the toe and they should improve quite a bit.

In the process of importing some BMT122's from a poster on this thread (thanks grrr)

I'm on GPO's 182cm for resort and soft snow (Marker Tours), but that's 1116mm.
    Aggressive in my own mind

I'm on the 191s. 6'6", 210lbs. Probably not much help to you.

I also own 196 protests, but unfortunately I haven't skied them in similar conditions, or even with the same boots so I don't think I have much to contribute there other than the mostly obvious, that the Lotus are more predictable on hard snow.

I'd love to try a BMT 122, but the 186 seems too short for me for a soft snow ski.

How about those Faction Machines? They look sick.

With the pre-sale custom options, now more than ever the answer to this question is UL protest. Quit your dithering and pull the trigger.
