    ATTN: SLC mags skis free

Ok so had a falling out with a buddy who was holding some gear for me. He got into it with some other friend in a fb thread and decided anyone associated should be cut off. Anyway. He basically tossed my stuff under his truck at his place.

Preference would be given to needy mags. I'd love to try to sell but happy to pass down to those in need.

188 rocker 2 115. Some sort of heavy ass metal rossi binder if memory serves. In amy event mounted for 325ish.

186 cochise. 2nd gen. I think these have a demo clamp. Couple sets of poles and possibly even a 2nd gen pair of tecnica cochise boots 28.5.

PM me I will provide address. Or directions as he hasn't gotten back to me on actual address. I can Google it if need be. Right near la callie. Neighborhood off on the left heading towards BCC. Easy to find some here might know the dude. Anyway.

Meh really just shows who "friends" really are. I didn't do anything but post about the alabama win and how the news didn't seem to be calling is the super spreader it was, he got into it with a right wing "friend" on my thread. He unfriended me and anyone else associated with said right winger. Just bizarre.

I also don't see trips to slc anytime soon and I got my use out of all the skis as well as got good deals. Very happy to pass on the love.

Despite what some might think of me I'm actually pretty ok..

People are getting pretty upset these days when their viewpoint doesn't align with others. Mostly why I avoid political talk or anything that is a trigger in general. People are also softer nowadays. No one can handle a joke anymore it seems.

    Agreed.

Let's keep this up top. Skis are in good condition. Oh yeah and a sportube. 2 pair but fits fat skis nicely with clothes and poles.

Or can't a SLC local just pick them up and ship to you?

Didnt think it would be this hard to get rid of free skis. Sure there are better out these days possibly, but damned if the rocker 2 115 isnt a fun pow ski and the cochise simply kills it. I skied that ski more than the rocker 2 for sure.

Plus a sportstube, some soul poles, and probably boots. All sitting under a truck in someones front yard in Cottonwood heights.

    cmon now.

Sorry about your lost friendship and the fate of your skis. Good on ya for offering them up.

ok everyone. OldSchool1080's picked up the gear and it is safe in his possession.

I've had a couple of PM's regarding the cochise. I've never had to deal with this before. Do I go in order of PM's? Neither seems overly needy.

Poles might be spoken for. I believe they are 50"

The boots I cant recall condition of, but all buckles, maybe 150 days. If I recall with PIN blocks installed. One punch for 6ths toe in each boot, not very large.

Also Rocker 2 still up for grabs. Heck the bindings alone are likely $50in good working order and I got them from slc mag.

sportstube too but I don't know what OldSchool wants if anything.

Thanks again Oldschool and all who offered help. As always AWESOME community.

You're the seller/giver, you use whatever criteria you see fit. All things being equal, I suppose most people go by PM order. But if it's free, then I think "need" or "long time mag" are probably appropriate considerations. And whether someone is local or requires shipping is another thing that could bump someone up. It's totally up to you.
