There is zero chance people are actually buying at that price. Seems insane that someone would even bother list it at that high. Probably just doing that in the off chance someone is stupid enough to buy it.

Happened to me- I had a mediocre coffee table book that I happened to see on Amazon listed by a bunch of people for $500+ used. I thought it was some bizarre bot induced glitch in the matrix, so I listed mine for $400 and forgot about it. A few months later, someone bought it.

No way I know on Amazon, but you can see past sales (or past non-sale listings) on eBay if you go to advanced search and choose completed listings. Seems nobody has ever listed one on eBay.

Rewind to last night: Ignorant me lists a second copy I had on ebay, along with two other books I randomly had extras of (As an aside - anyone need a 1st edition Eastern Sierra guide?).

I have no idea why I bought two, but apparently I did for some reason. eBay recommended I set it for a $40 no-auction buy it now, which I thought was weird. Straight sale? Nah. And 40 bucks? No way it goes for that. But I figured what the hell and started the auction at $35, fully expecting to re-list 10 days from now.

Wake up this morning, check ebay...holy crap. Not even 12 hours in and its a freaking bidding war? So of course I jump on TGR and search "squallywood" to try to figure out WTF is going on. Wowza. I had no clue.

I remembered I had this, and took a look on Ebay and Amazon. Ebay has one, listed at $1000. Amazon has 3, listed at $2000 each.
