Ahmed Rosario went 5-5 tonight, inside the park HR, 2 run-HR, 5 RBI, hit .372 in August...

I think that Lindor trade is working out in the Tribe’s favor.

Just when the Red Sox went peak Mets, the Mets raised the bar.

At least I can finally put a nail in this season. But shit like this is still salt in the jagged, open, festering wound.

Jeff Passan getting after it with Jacob Wohl’s dad shows the silver lining in things.

You can go back to ignoring him. Having a little context helped right now, but you no longer need it.

Weather here yesterday was nutso, but at least dealing with basement flooding after the HGM show had me awake to watch the Dodgers win to take 1st place.

    HUDGE series this weekend.

Baseball is a simple game. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose.

Sometimes the stadium gets buried under 10 feet of floodwater.

Played a game in a spring training facility in florida and the field was like that when we arrived. They had a bunch of gas powered pumps, pumped it off and we played. The filed wasn't too bad. Wrecked a couple pair of spikes and socks

One month left in the season and a lot of interesting story lines

NL East dumpster fire, who will limp into the playoffs

Wild card races in both leagues

And of course HOLY FUCKING PENNANT RACE in the NL West. Giants & Dodgers tied with a H2H series coming up starting tonight. Dodgers have the tougher schedule after but are finally coming into form.. Late September hopefully celebrating my 50th bday in the Ravine with a division clenching win?!?

    Lastly,

They should relegate the Orioles, fkn disgraceful

Looking forward to the series. Both teams are in the playoffs no matter what, but it would be nice to not have to play that wildcard game.

I would disagree with that and contend the Giants have the tougher schedule.
10 outta their last 19 vs SD, 2 trips to Denver (where COL is 20 over .500 vs 32 under on the road) and a series vs ATL, who rolls over against LA but is still (at least for now) a 1st place team.

LA has more travel, having to go to both STL & CIN on separate trips, with a stop in COL, 2 home series vs SD, and their final series against the powerful Brewers will probably mean next to nothing for MIL.

Fair point, didnt think about Brewers likely just holding auditions for the playoff roster...
That midwest road trip is what made me worry & Padres haven't been playing as well.

Dodgers run out of players? Putting guys in unfamiliar positions cost them. Glad Roberts is managing them.

    Suck it, Dodgers!
