Or lay down a freaking bunt every once in awhile. Apparently only Dodgers pitchers practice this.

The Indians came out today and announced where they are in the renaming process and what to expect next. 1,190 names collected.

Forgive me if I think what comes out of this will be some of the most bland, focus-group tested, corporate bullshit with all the excitement of a dial tone. FFS.

    Just Jake.

He’s dependable, gets you 85+ wins, trots out a fun team year in year out.

Good guy to drink with, that Jake.

That article points lot of fingers at the Dodgers, but our starters havent fallen off since the crackdown began.

Let's think, whose spin rate and over all effectiveness went down since this came up.

    Hhmmmmm

Sure they can’t hit, but at least their defense is atrocious.

The Sox radio crew is in fine form tonight. They spent ten minutes talking about how A-Rod should be announcing cause his career was an embarrassment to baseball, how Steinbrenner would be rolling over in his grave if he saw this Yankees lineup they are trotting out, and that the ESPN broadcast is the worst they’ve ever seen.

Yanks 0-16 when the opposing team scores 5 or more this year, lol. Awful. But that call to ring up Odor with the winning run at 3rd, just as bad.

Huh? I have been pretty onboard with robot umps since about 2005. If I did my job like that, I would be fired. Six inches off the plate. The Yanks offense blows and it's painful to watch, but no team needs the umpires playing for the other side. That was garbage.

i mean, frazier would have just struck out anyway so it doesnt matter but that is trash. is he taking angel hernandez lessons? have some accountability for once, mlb.

"Gerrit Cole has strange answer when questioned about using sticky stuff"

so, former cheating astro gerrit cole is found to be a cheating pitcher. hmmm, wonder where he learned this ? most likely while playing for the astros.

bur no, no additional reason for the astros to give up their world series trophy and rings. nothing to see here, move along.

the astros should be heckled by every park the visit for the next 5 years, sure others probably cheated and cheat too but rule number 1 in cheating is don't get caught.

Long time Tribe radio play by play man Tom Hamilton is a treasure to listen to. It’s a crime he’s not in the Hall by now with a Ford C. Frick Award.

Bravos radio team is pretty decent too, but if you want to hear a hilarious call, tune into “The Cowboy” Jeff Brantley with Reds radio. I swear the guy talks about eating in all the different cities he visits just as much as the game. Hell of a storyteller too.

Feel good story of the day comes from just down the road at the local Dick’s Sporting Goods and one of my favorite (now former) Tribe pitchers, the Little Cowboy, Josh Tomlin.

What's going to save the Yankees season?

Aroldis Chapman is the 1st Yankee ever in a Blown Save to:

    get 0 outs & allow 4+ runs
    AND allow 2+ HR

Cashman should be done ruining this historic franchise, but I hope not
