I didn't realize Bauer was having such a rough month... with the spidertack issue. Are the Dodgers going to have to give up the farm soon?

Bauer is gone unless a scheme to set him up comes tumbling out
    Kershaw is hurt.
We will see how good top prospect Josiah Gray is tonight.
Even if Kid is lights out Dodgers still shopping for a starter. Love to back a Brinks truck up to Scherzer's house, but Nats likely want all of OKC's team in return.

This a fun LA/SF series. It's great to have a nice pennant race going. Still wondering how the Giants are doing it, but I'll take it!

    Go GIGANTES!

Are the Yankees the worst defensive team statistically? Cause it sure feels like it

That’s mind boggling. I guess four wild pitches to lose a game doesn’t hurt your fielding percentage

    The Cleveland Guardians?

    really?

I mean Indians had to go but that is the dumbest name
A middle American baseball team and a British newspaper
And part of the name of a Marvel Franchise...

I guess the guardians are a set of statues in Cleveland. At least that’s what Twitter was saying

So after two minutes of deep introspection I'm going to go out on a limb and say it is totally fine. Could have been better, could have been worse. #WYGD

I wanted the Commodores, but what are you going to do?

I like it. I think the new branding looks really cool too.

The "Guardians" are statues all around downtown Cleveland and specifically the large ones on the Hope Memorial Bridge across from the Ballpark. The images have been a big part of Cleveland and the other sports in town for a long time.

I think any new name would sound wrong after knowing the team as the Indians for so long. It's fine. Everyone gets so hung up on what things are named. Get ready for lots of "they're still the Indians to me!" crap.
