Is it at all possible that the Guardians defeating the Yankees on Saturday could eliminate them from playoff contention? Because I would literally be there for that.

That was nuts. How the hell did he not see that coming? SS had nothing on the off balance throw and it was all the way at first base. He was just watching the base to make the call, unlike somebody watching the game.

If you would have told me in April that on Sept 13th the Giants would clench a playoff berth, I would have told you you're crazy. But here we are. Been an amazing run!

Right now some of the Giant's magic is being created by rotating up hot players from Sacramento. They'll have to have a set line-up this year, so we'll see how that plays out for October.

Vlad Jr is quietly moving in on the triple crown. First in BA and HRs, 3rd in RBIs.

Jays might have the AL Cy Young winner, a triple crown winner and still not make the playoffs

Awesome article about the Jays surge and Yankees collapse over the past couple of weeks:

    https://blogs.fangraphs.com/the-blue...yoff-position/

    I'd rather of had a 7-8 than a 3-12+article, but whatever.

Ok after no major league games this year ( Dodgers @ Mets was a disaster I am not sure I described or want to...) about to go on a bit of a binge

Pub, The Gaf, that was my regular ( across the street) when I moved to Manhattan in 2006 does a baseball trip every year, different park for Yankee and or Mets away game. Been doing it for almost 20 years. This year with Covid & everything else decided to do it at home ( plus a lot of the dudes moved away to suburbs like me or other towns) so Yankees v. Gurads tomorrow ( bmills need some info on dudes to cheer for point out to the boy) with boy at Yankee Stadium day game and Mets v Phillies at Citi Sunday night ( moved it from a day game because the Mets cant do fkn anything right) solo. Should be a fun few days watching baseball with dudes I have been talking about it and watching it with ( a lot of these guys saw Kershaw's away debut @ Shea with me)

Then work trip to Boston where I may grab a night at Fenway ( tbd ) then home for some shows then off to my beloved Dodger Stadium Set 28th for Urias bobblehead night with my boys from College and an OG mag Dodger fan I have gone to the Stadium with a few times b4.

Plus games that matter. Wild Card in both leagues could go a few ways, NL West battle is gonna change by the day until its over... Fun few weeks in baseball land.

Jose Ramirez. My favorite member of the Tribe (looking back I think I liked yes-way-Jose even more than Frankie). Dude flat out hustles when he's on the field and hits like a champ.

The Tribe 3rd baseman has been a MVP finalist in 3 of the last 4 seasons, is the reigning AL 3B Silver Slugger winner (2017, 2018 as well), and is 3 SBs away from another 30-30 season. Hitting .385 against the Yanks this year.

    https://www.cleveland.com/tribe/2021...-matchups.html

Some fun storylines for this series as well. 2x Indians Cy Young winner Kluber on the mound for the goons tonight against promising young starter Zac Plesac who's had a very up and down season due to time on the IL. Tribe has fully embraced the youth movement and despite having reigning Cy Young winner Beiber on the IL all season, losing RF Josh Naylor to a horrific collision that destroyed his knee and ankle, and having only one of the Opening Day SPs on the active roster (2 now that Civale is back), and losing Terry Francona for the season due to health concerns, the Tribe managed to keep the division within reach until after the ASG.

The pen is good, the young SPs are good and the young guys getting their shot in the bigs have been making it very entertaining lately.

Have fun, post up some pics!

    ROLL TRIBE.

Base hit José, and a stolen base!
