Count me in the group that loves the regular season. I have the Sox game on almost every night all season. Definitely miss it in the off season.
It absolutely would. THey've had over 30 years of this horrendous ownership. Baltimore people are passionate about the O's but they can barely bear to think about them at this point. Maybe once Peter Angelos finally dies things will finally get better for them.

Can you see a doctor about the chip on your shoulder? The Yankees sucked this year and I wasn’t talking about them. If the season results happened under the older 4 team playoffs a good team like the dodgers wouldn’t have had to go through a stupid 1 game play off.
What happened was that there had been an exciting finish with one and done scenarios in 2011 leading up to the playoffs and MLB said, “Hey, look at this exciting thing, let’s force it every year” and in the process ruin it because MLB sucks.
Was it that much fun to watch wild card teams flounder for a final spot this year?
Can’t wait for next year when they change the CBA to allow even more teams in, stoked for the first under .500 WS pink hat baseball champions!j'ai des grands instants de lucididididididididi

18 years since Pedro and Zimmer got into it. Classic moment.

Thank you all for indulging my slightly hungover, butthurt rant. I'm sure some Dodger fans are swell fellows who I would enjoy a beer or ski with. I mean nothing personal with my sports hate- but it is real. My Dodger hate is burned deep inside my soul. I don't think Dodger fans will ever truly understand it. The rivalry is really about an 80/20 thing. I just don't think Dodger fans care enough to hate us in the same way.

A significant number of the new Doyer fanbase has only been in our country (whether legally or illegally) for the past twenty years or less. They don't know our baseball history, our rivalries, why Giant's fans consist of prognathous, ridged-browed atavisms who scratch at indelicate body parts and belch with equal frequency. But, hey, at least they don't wear their sombreros to the game- imagine having to sit behind that for nine innings!
iVamos Doyers!Daniel Ortega eats here.

Man, this Red Sox team has turned it on at the right time. They basically have 1 pitcher and timely hitting and they’re tied 1-1 in the ALCS.

Is there any talk of the Braves changing their name? Maybe it would shut these morons up.

The Atlanta Baseball Club? BTW the Braves have sucked since 1952.
Damn, we're in a tight spot!

How could you root for your team without casual racism? That’s what this sport was built on

Max threw out some fairly alarming quotes, dealing with injuries but not red flag injuries, arm is dead, etc. Hotlanta in 5?

Bryan Stow -
“Ten years have passed since Stow, a lifelong Giants supporter, was on the receiving end of a horrific attack by two Los Angeles Dodgers fans in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium. The beating put him into a coma, left the then-42-year-old fighting for his life and shocked baseball.”

He Joined the Junior League of Atlanta....
Would like to make the Giants fans feel good that their proxy embrace of racism was the difference, but its just Roberts being Roberts, over tinkering.
Walker should win his game but not sure how we line up the next few after that.
