I hope they're individually knotted in case the strand breaks.

Does the Freeze do his thing during the playoffs? And if so, why doesn't TBS broadcast it?

That’s a good question, I’ll have to ask someone who was there. I can’t imagine RaceTrac not getting their sponsor exposure just cause it’s the playoffs.

To make the Dodgers feel at home they could grab a Giants fan and dress the Freeze up like a Dodger fan with a club or something as he chases down the participant.

If MLB has a convenience store sponsor, that over rides any local team sponsorship during playoffs. So you might see signage in a park but they won’t allow any attention to be drawn to the local sponsorship.

Viva's racism doesn't seem so casual.

Bringing in Urías yesterday seemed like a panic move to me, and causes some issues for game 4. But the biggest issue is they can’t seem to hit with runners on. Pollock and sliders in the dirt seems to be a match made in Heaven.

You know it's rough when you start feeling bad for the opposing pitcher.

This has been going on for years, now. Los Doyers stupidly over-infatuated with baseball analytics. Whether this comes from the manager or upper management, who's to know. Anywho, they're constantly trying to find mis-matches or trends in raw data or results and apply those to game-time adjustments, which is why they used, what, eight pitchers the opening game and seven last night. Draining the fuckin' bullpen in the event of extra innings. All in all, some impressive pitching, but eventually you're gonna put in someone who don't have good stuff on a particular night- e.g., Treinan on game one and Julio yesterday. There was something in the analytics suggesting that Julio was the best available option to start that inning. But analytics can't tell you who's hot, who's not on a particular day.

Joe Kelly was money in both game one and two, throwing a dozen or so pitches in each outing. Couldn't get another inning out of him? Really? Can't trust him against a lefty or two? Maybe. I haven't the data; they do. But they replaced him with another righty. Plenty of other examples.

The problem with this analytics approach is that it kinda neuters the players, I think. Sometimes ya have to allow your players to go "balls out". Atlanta showed that last night. Los Doyers aren't showing that sort of intensity. No balls.

^^ Ha, that guy in the stands after JD hit it out? That was funny.

Dalbec's not himself, he barely competed that at bat and something looked funny with his eyes when they did a closeup.

It’s bedlam on Jersey St behind their broadcast. Fox even had to cut the audio feed because of chants of naughty language.

    “Fuck You ARod”
    “J-Lo, J-Lo”
    “Papi, Papi, Papi”

    I love Boston!!

The Dodgers look toast. No energy or confidence out there. They shot their wad in SF.

The Braves have more hits with RISP this inning than the Dodgers do all series.

Am I the only one who thinks he looks more and more like Joe Torre? Obviously any resemblance stops there.
