Sad day here fellas. After 11 years my mystery mlb.tv/mlb.com login stopped working. I had to wrestle with amazon for 50 minutes to get the order for mlb.com added and then to link it to my phone and other shit.

Just in time to tune into a 9-0 shellacking of my Tribe. FFS.

Rodon gets the no-no. Well deserved. Happy for the guy. More pitches than he’s thrown than all of last year.

One bad pitch from a perfect game. Crazy sport, baseball.

I’ll tell you one thing, all 3 of these games came down to the 9th or extra innings. I think this Tribe - ChiSox battle is gonna be fun to watch this year.

That sucked. My wife got an alert on her phone, so we watched the final three innings. So close.

The Indians just swept the Motor City Kitties. I do look forward to the Astros receiving their comeuppance this season after getting cheated out of it last year.

Braves drop yet another extra inning game.

Pitching is so so, relief is less than that and it appears that only Acuna can hit the ball.

Truth. Acuna can’t be 80% of our offense and the team expect to win. Pitching has been marginal, Max Fried isn’t right and in the DL now. The Marlins series has hurt as Duvall, whom we should have signed, is down there and has been torching us.

Acuna and Freeman is the offense. Rest of the lineup will come around but it needs to happen soon. NL East is loaded this year

Acuna is a force and so much fun to watch.

Truth that the NL East is going to be the division to watch this year.

Yep, as much as I liked Ozuna last year, Duvall would have been the better choice or at least thats how it looks in hindsight.

Nice (long) article about Jackie Robinson and George Shuba here:

    https://theundefeated.com/features/a...americas-game/

There are a few nice public works to Jackie here in Montreal. I sure wish one of them could be a non-taxpayer funded 15,000 seat outdoor stadium to go with a minor league team though. That long-gone Delorimier Downs looked like quite a place to see a game, Jarry Park at Rue Gary Carter is now a 100% tennis/concert venue, and the Big O is really just a big money pit.

    le sigh.

    In other news:
    OPS leaders for the Dodgers:

    Turner 1.321
    Muncy 1.201
    Betts 1.028
    Smith 1.009
    Seager .998
    Taylor .987
    McKinstry .974

They're the 1st team in the modern era to have 7 players with a .950+ OPS thru 13 games (min. 30 PA). The only other team to even have 6 was the 1932 Yankees.

I do love Cody, but bad news for the Dodgers is a laughable take.

Tell me anout the DH, how its so cool.

David Price became the first Dodgers reliever with a win, 4+ strikeouts and an RBI in an extra-inning game since Nap Rucker on July 9, 1915.
