    4th in the ALE but 1st to the vaccination threshold!

    Teams should probably be encouraging players who received the jnj to get another dose, because at least the yankees have had a few players and coaches test positive after that shot. There's probably a different thread about that though.

    In the draft this past week your Cleveland Indians selected 19 pitchers out of a total of 21 available picks.

    Pitching U rolls on.

    I look forward to seeing these guys develop, win a Cy Young, and get traded before they can sign their first deal.

    José Ramírez is the most underrated and/or disrespected player in baseball.

    Top 3 in MVP past 3 years running;
    3 time all star;
    3 time silver slugger;
    30-30 club member.

    No one outside Tribe fans could tell you who he is.

    Convince me I’m wrong.

    have the houston astros become the mlb's dallas cowboys ? in the respect that unless you live in dallas(or houston in the astros case), you watch to see if they will get beat down

    i think thy might have. currently the astros white sox are on fox. if thats nationawide; most of the nation could care less about the white sox but i suspect many would like to see they cheating astros get a beating.

    way to go astros, they used to be a loveable little team with biggio and bagwell and before that nolan ryan and mike scott; now they are the team you love to hate; but they got a WS that nobody thinks they deserve outside the houston city limits; so i guess it was worth screwing the franchise.

    i couldn't tell if they hit him but that dude will enjoy a nice stay somewhere courtesy of the nypd tonight. my impression from many games is that they don't fuck around with that shit anymore and that place has almost as many cameras per square inch as anything in the city.

    You'd think there'd be video but I guess not.

    There’s a fan sitting behind home plate in Oakland right now taking in this CLE- OAK game in a Devo hat.

    Not sure if it’s an homage to Akron, but either way, nicely done sir.

    Yankees actually playing “baseball” tonight…..kinda fun to watch tonight/ with the young guys hitting the ball where they ain’t and running the bases. bunt/base hit and hitting the ball the other way….nice start to an inning.

    *Runners going 1st-3rd
    *Sac Fly
    *Stealing

    Hey, it kinda looks like baseball……

    There has been a lot of shitty fan behavior in sports the last couple of years. I think there was a fenway incident that was similar to this that happened to the yanks last year? and some nba playoffs stuff?

    Sports, airplanes, stores.... idk, so many entitled and stupid assholes.

    Yankees stadium was rough back in the day though, then disneyland... now maybe it's headed back? i can't really see it turning into what it was. Beer costs too much and they stop serving early. Plus cameras, ticket prices, etc.

    There's too much money at risk on the field for the owners to tolerate behavior like that any more. I do remember there was an incident at Fenway not too long ago but I can't remember what happened. I'd be very surprised to hear the team and league didn't respond in a similar fashion to this latest incident.

    Back in the day it was out of hand in a lot of places, both Fenway and the Stadium included. I highly doubt we will see a return to that.

    He's right, though. Chavis has actually been in the bigs.

    Verdugo just made the catch of the year. Almost.
