They said that he hadn’t hit with that dude since March so I could see the disconnect there. When he needed one HR with 14 seconds left he got two bad pitches in a row that threw off his rhythm

Is this your way of telling us you miss Chris Berman doing the HR Derby without telling us you miss Chris Berman doing the HR Derby?

Well that neat. They recycled the promos with Atlanta hip hop stars for the relocated show in Denver.

Guess the virtue signaling had a budget cap.

On a positive note MLB announced today that it probably won’t continue with the farcical 7 inning double headers and man on second in extras.

If anyone has been to a game of a DH this year you’ll know that it’s like getting cheated out of baseball.

I think that is just bargaining, dont the players ( the Union as a whole) want that to continue?

I’m not sure what the players’ position on those issues is, all I know was that I like the proposal and no matter what we’re heading for a lockout.

they should have gone back to 154 when they expanded the playoffs in 95. Id sacrifice a few games in the beginning of April. Sitting in a freezing stadium kind of blows for everyone and just maybe they could make the schedule suck a little less. interleague and the weighted division schedules are lame. but nothing is worse than the man on second and 7 inning games. little league.

I guess I’m in the minority but I’ve liked the man on second in extras. It’s instant drama. Nothing worse than a 14 inning game where everyone is up trying to hit a solo home run.

Alonso got lucky last HR Derby. Had his brother pitching for him who was all over the place. I didn't figure bro would be his returning pitcher. This guy made him look good!

It became pretty obvious after the first round that Pete was on mash-mode.

HAHAHA stephen a smith made some outlandish comments about Shohei Ohtani hurting baseball because he needs an interpreter. He knows so little about baseball they might as well let him call balls and strikes.

Ohtani is fantastic for the game and I see kids all over the place latching on to him with interest.

If Stephen A was anyone other than Stephen A, you’d hear the cancel calls right about yesterday.

So I know that when you get like the measles vaccine, you can still come up positive on a test when you get exposed even if you won’t get sick and won’t spread it. I wonder if this is the same? How many vaccinated people would test positive if they were tested every day even though they aren’t sick or spreaders?

But yeah, Yankees are the worst.
