If we had gotten anybody but Mookie FKn Betts in the deal and i would be pissed, but I still might be in 5 years.

Mookie brought you a WS, so I think you’ll be happy with the trade forever.

Just checking in to remind you that José Ramírez is the best player in baseball that doesn’t get enough press.

I've really been enjoying the Giants, but like most Giants fans, I'm kind of quietly waiting for them to come back to earth. If they don't, that'd be awesome, but there are so many guys having career first halves.

It's really fun to see the Petco full for this Pads/Dodgers series. After years of seeing that place empty, cool to see it so full- and rowdy AF!

Nope, he’s been calling for this for years. Then again, he’s generally a spaz so yeah, why not?

Mixed emotions yesterday for my Dodgers, on the one hand what should be a potent lineup got no hit at home by a mix of so so pitchers and a dominant closer...
On the other hand Joc Pederson got his ring and so did his brother Champ. If you are unfamiliar with Champ:

He was Omnipresent in the championship run and stoked they got him a ring.

I want to see one of those for deGrom. He was checked twice in his last outing and was found to be clean, and still was unhittable. Is he better at cheating than everyone, or is he just an alien?

    Alien.

OTOH I lost track of the number of wild pitches in last nights Braves/Reds game. Reds pitcher didn't seem to have a problem putting the ball where they wanted to.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

That potent lineup of yours is 0-4 versus my gang of so - so pitchers. (Now that I said that we will probably get roasted for the next 3 games)

Does anyone know where to look up spin rates by game / season etc? Vertical / Horizontal break? Or is that something only scouting departments have right now?

Whitlock looks amazing again, great job, Cashman. This guy should be closing in no time.

Also, I like the Sox announcers. The old guy with the great accent and this other guy that really tries hard to pronounce latin names. A+.

ETA: it's Eck? Damn, pleasantly surprised. Way better than the Royals crew. Of course, anyone is better than Michael Kay. Wish there was a YES2 I could just hear some random fans call a game on. Couldn't be worse.

This is actually a brilliant idea. There should be some way to make this happen via YouTube or a live podcast or something. Turn the sound off on the TV and turn on the podcast? I’m gonna ask my kid if this already exists and get back to you.

Sonofabitch. Tribe RF and clubhouse sparkplug was just ran into by a rookie up from AAA and has now been down on the field for 10 minutes, writhing in severe pain.

Very scary. Speedy recovery Josh. Just awful.
