Can Jacob deGrom keep this up? The correct answer has got to be "no," right? Right now he's 6-2 with 103 Ks in 64 IP with a 0.56 ERA.

And his two-run single last night leaves him with more RBIs (five) this year than earned runs allowed (four),
first by any pitcher across any 10-start stretch since RBI became an official stat in 1920.

Do the Cubs have any non white fans? Can't find any within camera range the past few nights. Just like Fenway.

Dodger Stadium had a sellout crowd of 52,078 last night , the team announced. According to the Dodgers: “The 52,078 fans represent the largest crowd to watch a professional sports league game in the United States since the start of the pandemic."

and Benny FFS having gone to many games in old and new Yankee stadium, I can definitely tell you the crowd inside does not resemble nor represent the people of the Bronx outside, nor the rest of NYC as a whole.

Baseball fandom in general is mighty white which is a problem on multiple levels, dont try and single out Wrigley and Fenway

No way, man. Yeah, Yankee Stadium can be pretty white, relatively speaking compared to the Bronx (of course, the Bronx), and even the city, as a whole, but still a pretty diverse crowd. Maybe not in the thousand dollar seats right behind home plate, but that's such a ridiculous situation that many of those seats are empty, even during playoffs.

And I said that, when I turn on my TV and watch a game with the stands full, unmasked, I'll take that as a sign we're in the all clear, and watching the Cubs game the other day was that moment.

What's your point Benny? If 13.5% of the fans at a professional sports game aren't black, its a racist sport now?

    Trevor Bauer vindicated?

Needed to be addressed off season and consistent from beginning, let pitchers train and prepare. They have all been relying on things for years to grip the ball better
    its not just spin rate.

Glasnow had a great take on it.

MLB seems to really be trying to make the game worse & likely cause a strike.

Strike/Lockout is happening next year no matter what. No way the players agree to what the owners want in terms of salary caps/floors and elimination or reduction in guaranteed contracts.

Never mind all the other issues.

Oh snap, the Yankees were repeatedly cheating over the last few years. I seem to recall the Yankee fans whining the loudest about being the victims of cheating… surely all those Yankees fans will humbly eat crow.

That looks pretty short on both details and proof.

Claim: the 2015 Royals stole signs!
Evidence: We don't have any and don't know how this was implemented

Don't worry, your asterisk is still safe!

    Aaron Judge 2018 Home/Away split 125/108
    Aaron Judge 2021 Home/Away split 125/182

    The 125 is pretty consistent.

I can’t figure out how to embed from mlb but if anyone wants to see what one of the best players in the game does to make him one of the best players in the game you just gotta watch this heads up hustle from earlier in tonight’s game.

Yes way-José Ramírez is so damned fun to watch play.
