I believe the proper term is "European carryall."

This thread is sort of amazing. It’s like watching a Hollywood A-lister doing a TV commercial for Japanese perfume or cigarettes or some shit

I worked one of those jobs back in the day. Japanese ciggy commercial, Queen Mary, Vilmos Zsigmond as DP, American supermodels doing wardrobe changes right there on the deck. It was awesome.

Not sure who that lady is or why she is famous but looks like she could be right out of Zoolander.

In a bizarre coincidence, there was a recent story about that kid falling 40 ft off a chair lift, and the lady watching it happen, sometime after that picture was taken.

Did you use baby harp seal skin as a base?

@billyk - photo caption implies this was taken after young Mr Zoe tried to fly...

ETA - they should change the kids name from Skylar to Skyfall

The Cabin In The North Face Woods

They said there'd never be a sequel, but I think this is pretty good justification.

    New North Face Gear

    Is this shit real?

    Can’t be can it?

Who in their right minds would want to look that bad. Plus, the demographic they are targeting seem to be scrawny purse wearing people, the kind of people who are scared of bugs and exercise of any kind.

    More info on the “sky-fall”:

Turns out “40 ft” was 23 feet, and the ski patrol placed pads underneath before he was lowered.

When two adults are present (incl. dad) and 40 = 23...obviously, it’s someone else’s fault!

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

I’ve not skied Aspen or Buttermilk. What is the role of the “ski professionals” to which Ms Zoe refers in the latest report?

Are these instructors? Mountain Ambassador? Somebody who gets paid to just ski around in the latest TNF fashion?

My money is still on the kid not getting both buttcheeks on the seat bench because he was a gaper on a snowboard.

Isn’t there something in the Responbility Code about being able to load and ride chairs without falling off?
