I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

I had high hopes for these, but if you have any facial stubble, it pulls out the filter or moves it out of position. Expect to have to put in a few stitches of thread every time you install a new filter, to hold it in place.

yeah, the filters shift if a cat sneezes the next town over.

I'll bet a strategically placed shot of adhesive spray would work too.

Maybe everyone is doing this, but I found that turning the filter inside out (seam facing you) gives it a little more structure and it shifts less. Mask hacks!

Any thoughts on lightweight vs midweight ubertube kit? From the COVID mask thread, seemed a preference for lightweight. Or get both, for warmer/colder days?

The mid weight isn't very heavy.

use double sided tape for the filters, completely solves the problem.

If you're ordering an Ubertube, make sure to purchase the "medium" filters if you want extra. The standalone facemasks take the "large" filters.

I don't have any issues with facial hair pulling the filters, but I'm about 2 months into this beard (maybe 3/4" long) so perhaps only the sharp stubble pulls it around. Nonetheless, with a beard, it stays put.

This is still active and works in addition to pro discount if you have that as well.
