Cracked Pivot/FKS heel piece
Was working on the skis today and noticed that I had crack developing on the plastic spring cover on the heel piece of my FKS's.
Its occurring on both bindings, with the cracks in the same general location on each. I tried to take pictures, but it was a bit difficult.
Has anybody experienced this before? Input into the prospective lifespan as is, or what failure might mean?

Do stomp on them with boot or use pole? I have a lot of pivots and have never seen that happen. So not sure on safety issue. Maybe contact Rossi warranty and ask them.

Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

I have a couple heel pieces with plastic cracked/missing there. No issues to report, though I haven't had them tested.

I’m pretty ginger with them, never use skis for removal, either pole or boot, but no stomping.
I’m sure they’re beyond the warranty window but will still check with Rossignol to see their response.
Good to know. Gives me some confidence
Fantastic, hopes it’s in a blaze of glory

Purely cosmetic, no big deal.
