there is some website that explains where to go in a particular airport to sleep that is quiet - might be a good source for where to hang out during daytime to avoid crowds.

Although making stall #1 a temporary office maybe all the answer you need.

the airport is a crowded shit show. I'm sitting on the floor against the wall on the ramp to leave the terminal and head to baggage claim. Only place I could find with an outlet and not 25 people around me.

    Random Unthreadworthy Questions

After reading this thread I guess I’m a winter boot whore…. have the high sorels for actual snow activity like sledding or shoveling, mid and low Uggs for cozy warmth- I call them Uglies. Low Merrells and was going to purchase some muck boots but found these Merrells and decided they were worth a try. I like Merrells best for comfort and traction. These are Women’s Haven Bluff Polar Waterproof, Peacoat

Prayer/Meditation rooms for a quiet time. They are in almost all large airports

They aren't so quiet or uncrowded nowadays--full of flight attendants praying not to get their teeth knocked out.

I wish I had a photo from the ATL Skyclub recently. I forget which concourse I was in but it was mayhem. Stranding room only. Wife and I turned around and went to the gate for the less crowded option.

I don’t even understand the logic of not tucking. If I have to wear tall rubber boots due to conditions, I don’t want to drag my pants through the mud and slush.

Rain pants don't get tucked, but other than that, yeah, pants inside the boots for sure.

So I'm pulling up to an intersection... I'm going to arrive at the exact same time as the guy on my right. I have a stop sign, he doesn't. But he's also going the wrong way on a one way street.

Who has the right of way?

Hey, he's only going one way.

The logical next-step progression from taking it switch to the road is to take it switch on the road. So he's got that going for him, which is nice.

How do you know where he’s going is wrong?
