Two of the places I shop stopped carrying it. Weird. You inspired me to dig deeper and it appears Albertson's still carries it.

If all else fails you could get one of these:

Not only was the Hurom HP Slow Juicer one of the most powerful models we tested, it was also the most compact and user-friendly.

We tested 9 juicers, and these are the 3 best in 2021

If you like to squeeze juice--consider this
    https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hamilton-...edSellerId=907
The price is twice what I paid some years ago. I don't know if that's pandemic pricing or if it's going to come down in time (just about the time unsweetened grapefruit juice is back in the store.)
I buy oranges in bulk--25 pound bags when I can find them--and squeeze every morning.

I <3 fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice, but cleaning juicers seems to be a major PITA. Am I doing something wrong?

And juicers take up a lot of space.

I bought a $50 router and wish I spent a little more. Will probably get a better one shortly. I don’t know if they wear out, but tech keeps improving. If hers is more than 5 years old, can’t hurt to upgrade. That said Comcast has come out and put new filters in the outside line a couple times over the three years I’ve been with them. Not really sure what that means. There’s some tech people that respond in the “what phone now” thread that might not read this one.

Edit yeah re-read and see you’re talking land lines. No tech guru here sorry.

I went to Home Depot and they only had toshiba window air conditioners this year. Prices were way high. They used to have a variety like lg and ge etc. amazon has a fair priced lg decent price free ship. Wondering if it would be all beat to fuck when it gets here. I hate returning shit and don’t want to wait for nothing.

I used to buy and squeeze oranges every week when we lived in CA. Only Valencia though, a couple of ten pound bags. Used an old school orange reamer and coarse sieve. Nothing like it.

I bought a window unit off Amazon last summer. It came well packed and worked well for us.

A failed DSL filter will put a constant buzz / hum on the line. Static on a land line is due to a bad / corroded / loose connection. Usually.
The house should have a box on the outside that you can access. Open it up and plug a known good phone into the customer side.
If static is present call the phone company.
If she pays for "wire maintenance" just call the phone company and have them deal with it.

    Any other Q's PM me.

Thanks! I'll check out the exterior phone box when I visit next.

I have a bunch of extra DSL filters that I'll bring with. I can just swap them out and see if it helps.

House is 50 years old, could well be phone wiring connections failing.

The kind of manual juice I have cleans easily with a quick swipe with a dish brush, unless you let the pulp dry on the strainer. Like when my wife squeezes limes for margaritas.

I'll squeeze Valencias when I can get them but navels are much more common around here and underrated for OJ. One of the best things about Spain--even the cheapest dive breakfast places squeeze oranges.
