I was trying to fix another web browser problem on my PC last week, so cleared the cache, and ever since then when I use Google Maps the icons don't appear. The funny thing is clearing the cache didn't fix the other problem either. The same behavior occurs on both the Chrome and Edge browsers.

Here's a screen capture to show you what I'm talking about:


My guess is clearing the cache cleared those images from the cache, but I don't understand why they wouldn't reload when I refresh the web site. I haven't noticed this for any other site. Just plain weird.

Try some warm olive oil in the outer ear canal. Might have a chunk of earwax stuck next to the drum. The oil might soften it up enough to release.

Or el Chup is right- you got an earwig taking up residence. You fucked.

There's also over the counter ear wax drops, any drugstore or Walmart will have them. A few drops in the ear, then get in the shower and run hot water into your ear.

The wax-encrusted bug should rinse right out.

yes, they are. During one of our many meltdowns he had to re-enlist, and now I think one account works on his computer and one on his phone or something like that.

Peroxide works great to clear earwax. Just drip a couple drops in your ear with your head tilted to the side (I soak a cotton ball and squeeze it above my ear) and let it work. You can hear it working. When the bubbling slows down tilt your head back up with a tissue over it to catch the liquid.

Fuck peroxide. I tried that once. Ended up horribly infected. And I used a minute amount of diluted peroxide. Both ears.
